Okay, so. I'm writing this essay because I'm thinking about stuff and I need some information.

What's the recent conflict over PewDiePie about? Is it just his **** "jokes", or is it his response to their criticism that set off this recent... explosion? And how recent was this, anyway?

On SA, at least, it started because he was a smug asshat who dismissed criticism and wasn't funny; the fact that 90% of his "jokes" consists of shrieking **** over and over at the top of his lungs was (to slowbeef, who put together the initial Retsupurae Adults React to PewDiePie vid) less important. Of course, then he got butthurt by a video of people going "why is this so awful", the video got slammed by stupid whiny preteens who in at least one case posted that they didn't see what was wrong with **** (iirc that post got quoted at SA as an example of why PewDiePie and his fans are incredibly awful), and slowbeef had to repost the Retsupurae video without the drug and suicide jokes. WELCOME TO YOUTUBE, LAND OF HYPOCRISY.

That said, I think it was a few weeks back at least. I'll have to find the thread to be sure.

e: I should note that PewDiePie is NOT a goon, and probably would have been banned enough to buy Lowtax a sweet new yacht if he was. Also, the thread I mentioned; PDPchat starts a few pages in.

My dad was in a car crash today. He's fine (just a broken collarbone and some surface bruising from the seatbelt/airbag*) but the car was totaled (the front end had a date with a tree after he got rearended off the road by a drunkard going 104 mph, you see...).

So of course this means that I'm quietly flipping the **** out. After a couple of hours of relative calm. uuuugggggh

Ah, good. I guessed right. :v So what do you guys think happened to the Nai'ka in the fairy circle? My theory is magic drain of some sort.
